Widener University School of Law
The Widener University School of Law Experience is one of scholastic excellence based upon a solid fundamental legal educations, diverse clinical involvement, and an energetic, innovative and accessible faculty. A spirit of cooperation pervades the Widener community. Widener University School of Law is committed to providing a legal education that thoroughly prepares the student to become the practicing attorney of the twenty-first century. As a Widener student, you will receive an excellent legal education from faculty members with outstanding teaching and scholarly achievement. The basic academic programs, the legal writing and methods curriculum, the Intensive Trial Advocacy Program, numerous elective courses and substantial clinical & externships opportunities are available at both campuses. Each campus offers full-time(Full-time/Regular Division) and part-time programs (Part-time/Extended Division), allowing the Widener student greater flexibility. Both campuses have developed strong academic support programs for those students who may require additional assistance in reaching their full academic potential. Both campuses also offer a number of significant extracurricular activities for our students, and students from both campuses participate in our extraordinary Aummer Abroad Law Institutes coordinated by the International Programs Office. Widener's campuses also boast an excellent record of safety and security.
