Joe Cronin, Jr. – President and Founder
Joe started Edvisors in January, 1998 as an educational services and marketing company focused on serving college students. He oversees all aspects of the company, with expertise in online marketing, SEO, product management and marketing partner relationships.
Prior to Edvisors, Joe co-founded and served for four years as Senior Vice President of the International Education Finance Corporation ("IEFC"), a start up international education loan marketing company (Sold to CFS and eventually to JP Morgan Chase). His primary responsibility was the development and implementation of a marketing plan for the company's student loan products. He developed extensive contacts throughout the world by meeting with university leaders in the fields of financial aid, admissions and international education.
Joe has spent over 20 years in the student loan and online marketing industry having worked for the First National Bank of Boston, American Student Assistance and The TERI Corporation. He has also worked as a student loan adviser and as an urban youth counselor in Boston. Joe earned his undergraduate degree in Psychology at Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. and has an MBA in International Business from Bentley University.

Geoffrey is the Chief Operating Officer of Edvisors. He is responsible for the company's product management and business development efforts, operations and administration. Prior to joining Edvisors in 2006, Geoffrey was a relationship Manager for the Boston Consulting Group, where he worked from 2001-2006. He began his career at Braxton Associates, the strategy consulting group of Deloitte Consulting. Geoffrey received an A.B. cum laude from Dartmouth College and a MBA from the Stanford University Graduate School of Business.

Ken is responsible for the development of new partner relationships with Edvisors. He brings with him 25 years of experience in business development, client management, and a track record of delivering effective branding/marketing solutions for his prospects and partners. Prior to joining the Edvisors team, Ken was a VP of Partner Development with college savings loyalty leader Upromise. There he managed such notable brands as Exxon Mobil, McDonalds, Avis Budget, Bed Bath & Beyond, Canon, Liberty Mutual, and Century 21.
Andrew Daley – Director of Community Development
Andrew has over 20 years of experience in marketing, partnership development, and online product development and has held key positions at Starwood Hotels, Reebok International, World Travel Holdings (WTH) and several start-ups. Most recently, Andrew was Vice President of Digital Strategy at a Boston-based agency where he helped define digital and community strategies for Stonyfield Farm, Product (RED), and other brands. He completed his graduate studies with an MA in Global Marketing from the European Institute of International Communications (Maastricht, The Netherlands).
Max Drabkin – Director of Engineering and Development
Max provides leadership and direction for engineering and web development teams. He is responsible for the development of software products and projects across Edvisors' network of websites as well as the company's IT infrastructure. He brings over 13 years of experience in data and product management, execution intelligence and system design in start-up and corporate environments. Prior to joining Edvisors, Max was Director of Engineering at Searchandise Commerce, an innovator in online search media. Previously he worked at Buyerzone, a division of Reed Business Information, most recently as Engineering Team Manager and Information Architect responsible for the development and maintenance of the leading B2B lead generation website. He did his graduate studies in Computer Science at Tufts University and received a BA in Neuroscience from Brandeis University.
Eric Droukas – Director of Online Marketing and User Experience
Eric is the Director of Online Marketing and User Experience for Edvisors. Before Edvisors, Eric worked as Director of User Experience, Web Development and Localization for Everest Gaming, where he managed all of the company's user-centered design and usability testing, front and back end web development, SEO, SEM, and content management. Prior to Everest Gaming, Eric held marketing positions at software, education publishing and an Internet startup companies in the Boston Area. Eric received his B.A. in English from Tufts University.
Gregg Manning – Director of Scholarship Programs
Gregg is an Internet strategist with well over a decade of technology and online marketing experience. With over 20 years total marketing experience he has the unique perspective of 'old world' and 'new age' marketing methods. His focus is on building brand awareness, business development, online marketing strategy, and community management.
His product team's flagship website ScholarshipPoints.com has an active audience of over 1 million teens and young adult collegians who compete for monthly college scholarship awards. Last year our tremendous growth allowed us to aid the financial need of more than 80 students with over $120,000 in scholarship dollars.
Jonathan Rudy – Director of Affiliate & Lender Management
Jon is the Product Director for Edvisors. He is responsible for federal and private loans for college, vendor and partner relations, affiliate relations, and customer service. Prior to joining Edvisors in 2004, Jon was a case manager for the Tampa-based law firm, Trumbull and Associates. He holds a BA from Eckerd College in Political Science and International Business.
Marion Thomas – Director of Financial Aid Services
Marion is responsible for the growth of the Edvisors Financial Aid services product line and for broadening Edvisors' footprint in the Higher Education Financial Aid Services market. Prior to joining Edvisors in 2011, Marion held various online marketing roles and most recently worked for Vistaprint N.V. (Nasdaq:VPRT) where she was responsible for optimizing their global e-commerce sites. She holds a B.A. from Northeastern University in Marketing and International Business.
