Edvisors works with colleges, universities, foundations, states, corporations and other agencies that seek to make changes or expand in providing services. One important core value is the extension of educational opportunities to individuals and groups who may previously been denied access to education, the arts or the world of learning. All educational institutions benefit from a planning process that analyzes data on the needs of students, communities, society and the world of employment.

Joseph M. Cronin founded an Education Advisor Services company called Edvisors in 1998 after completing six years as President of Bentley College. The mission was to assist leaders of educational and cultural organizations develop or improve programs through planning, design and evaluation.

Another value is that full time educational leaders from time to time need an extra hand or another pair of eyes to envision the future and examine all aspects of the proposals that leaders so often receive and must analyze.
