Online Master's Degrees
A master's degree is an academic degree focusing on a specific course of study that requires specialized knowledge. With 30 to 60 credit hour requirements an online master's degree can take anywhere from one to three years to complete. The two basic types of masters degrees offered in the U.S. are the Master's of Arts (MA) and Master's of Science (MS).
To get into a online master's degree program one must have completed a bachelor's degree, but not necessarily in the same field, and pass the relevant admissions exam geared to your given area of focus.
The primary reason many enroll in an online masters degree is to earn a higher salary, enter a new profession, or increase their chance of professional advancement, and the convenience of online education.
