Choosing the right major is an important decission every college student needs to make. And while there are several factors to consider when deciding which degree to pursue, one of the most important is what kind of salary you can expect when you graduate.
Despite a sputtering economy and the highest unemployment rates in more than a quarter-century, average starting salaries are on the rise in many different fields. Overall, the average salary offered to 2009 graduates was relatively flat at $49,353. Just slightly higher than the 2008 average of $49,300. Here are the Top 10 Paying degrees in 2009, according to the National Association of Colleges and Employers.
