Email Marketing Specialist
Edvisors is currently seeking an Email Marketing Specialist in our Quincy, MA office. An ideal candidate knows email marketing services inside and out, has expert knowledge of email-specific html and privacy standards, and seeks to be in charge of email marketing in an professional and fun atmosphere, located right off the red line.
Edvisors operates numerous college-focused websites and deploys weekly and monthly email campaigns reaching millions of students. In 2010 we are projected to send more than 75 million emails to our database of 2+ million students.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain email best practices and campaign management metrics
- Serve as primary liaison to Email Service Provider
- Execute weekly and monthly emails for in-house and partner campaigns
- Create and optimize email templates for various browsers and email providers
- Work across departments to coordinate email calendar
- Work with team to import mailing lists and maintain list hygiene
Qualifications
- 3-5 years experience in email marketing
- Direct experience with Email Service Providers
- Ability to execute email campaigns from creation to post-campaign analysis
- Expert knowledge of email standards, privacy policies, HTML tables and in-line CSS
- Exceptional analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities
- Strong verbal communication and writing skills
- Some experience with Google Analytics, SEO, and SEM
- Knowledge of Publicaster / Blue Sky Factory a plus
