ScholarshipPoints.com, an Edvisors company, is seeking candidates to fill the position of Member Retention and Engagement Manager, reporting to the Director of Scholarship Programs.
ScholarshipPoints (www.ScholarshipPoints.com) is a free membership rewards program where 2 million college students earn points by participating in online activities, reading blogs, grading their college, taking surveys and more. Earned Points are converted into entries for our monthly scholarship sweepstakes. ScholarshipPoints is a fast growing (We have added 1 million new members over the last 12 months), innovative college student website with the potential to take off under the right guidance.
The key deliverable in this role is to make ScholarshipPoints a daily habit for Generation Z. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the knowledge and skills to increase member retention and engagement as measured by declining member attrition, increased member activity, as well as numerous social networking, customer satisfaction, email, and other onsite metrics.
Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of monthly and quarterly scholarship programs including promotion, communication, and fulfillment
- Set and achieve revenue, retention, and engagement goals and metrics on a monthly basis
- Integrate game play mechanics in order to encourage deeper engagement
- Develop member loyalty programs that reward our most avid users
- Analyze campaigns and translate anecdotal or qualitative data into recommendations for future action
- Engage members and non-members in social media channels by communicating consistently and effectively the benefits of our program on a daily basis
- Participate in social media on our behalf as yourself and white hat avatars on a daily basis
- Be the eyes and ears of our brand as if it were your own reputation at stake
- Execution of our email contact strategy and provide timely reporting of key metrics including opens, clicks-to-open, and revenue per delivered email
- Write project plans and organize multiple departments to achieve successful project completion
Qualifications
- Experience in Marketing, Online Marketing, Community Management, Membership Engagement and Retention
- Bachelor's degree degree in business, marketing or related field from an accredited institution
- Management experience or clearly demonstrated readiness for promotion to management
- Demonstrated ability to develop and drive a marketing strategy proven by testing and metrics
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and an ability to work individually on a project or in a team environment
- Ability to communicate results to management in a fast paced environment
- Ability to jump from the creative side of marketing to analytical side and demonstrate why their ideas are analytically sound
- Outstanding organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
- Understands social media universe including Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Flickr, Forums, blogs, etc.
- Thorough knowledge of SEO/SEM principles
- Possesses functional knowledge or some experience with HTML/CSS
