We're looking for the next great online marketing star to join the Edvisors. We operate a suite of college-focused websites geared towards helping students find and apply for financial aid for college.
Your job will be to help manage many of the day-to-day marketing responsibilities that help drive our business and also to help us envision the future of our company. This is a rare opportunity to gain experience in all aspects of growing an online business, and to hone your online marketing skills. You'll be part of a fast growing company, helping us to communicate with over one million college students every month.
Responsibilities
- Manage marketing initiatives, communication strategy, and day to day product line operations
- Writing and managing blogs, creating new web content, newsletters and email campaigns
- Managing and growing multiple social media channels — looking for new social networks to expand into, monitoring and managing online community forums
- Compiling various web analytics reports as required to understand campaign success
- Working with affiliate partners to provide/update content and offer, manage execution of email campaigns and more
- Providing support on special projects and marketing campaigns
- Flexibility to handle other duties as required
Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree and 2-4 years online marketing experience (SEO, affiliate marketing, social media, website optimization...)
- Excellent attention to detail and communications skills
- Resourceful, creative, organized and able to multi-task
- Demonstrated writing skills — primarily targeted web content, blogs, editorial content, and PR
- Comfortable with HTML and/or content management systems like WordPress is a big plus
- Familiarity with Google Analytics and/or other tracking, analytics is a plus
- A genuine interest in online marketing and a desire to continue learning/honing associated skills
