Kaplan University has campuses in Davenport, Cedar Falls, Cedar Rapids, Council Bluffs, Des Moines, and Mason City, Iowa; in Lincoln and Omaha, Nebraska; and in Hagerstown and Frederick, Maryland. The Davenport Campus is the main one; all campuses offer programs that reflect employer preferences in the area such as Allied Health, Arts and Sciences, Business, Criminal Justice, Information Technology, and Legal.
This university offers associate, bachelor's, and master's degrees and certificates in a wide range of fields to include education, business, information technology, arts and sciences, health care, nursing, criminal justice, and law.
Kaplan University is a member of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools. The school of nursing was awarded accreditation in 2006 by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education. Concord Law School merged with Kaplan University in 2007 and changed its name to Concord Law School of Kaplan University. Although it is not recognized by the American Bar Association, its graduates may take California's bar exam and are permitted to practice if they are admitted to the bar. Students have the option of taking courses in the traditional campus setting or online, making obtaining a degree more convenient than ever before.
