As you use our websites and services, we may collect and/or have collected in the past twelve months the following categories of personal information that may identify, relate to, describe, reference, be capable of being associated with, or reasonably be linked, directly or indirectly, with a particular consumer or device (“Personal Information”).

Identifiers. Personal identifiers may include, without limitation, name, signature, social security number, physical characteristics or description, address, telephone number, passport number, driver’s license or state identification card number, insurance policy number, education, employment, employment history, bank account number, credit card number, debit card number, or any other financial information, medical information, or health insurance information. Name, email address, IP address, and User ID, cell phone number, account username.
Personal information categories listed in the California Customer Records statute (Cal. Civ. Code § 1798.80(e)). A name, signature, Social Security number, physical characteristics or description, address, telephone number, passport number, driver's license or state identification card number, insurance policy number, education, employment, employment history, bank account number, credit card number, debit card number, or any other financial information, medical information, or health insurance information. Some Personal Information included in this category may overlap with other categories. Household income range, student assets, federal or private student loan debt, credit score range, student loan amount sought.
Protected classification characteristics under California or federal law. Information Related to Characteristics Protected Under California or Federal Law such as gender, age, marital status, and citizenship. Gender, age 40 years plus, marital status, religion, citizenship, military or veteran status, disability, ethnicity.
Commercial information. Records of personal property, products or services purchased, obtained, or considered, or other purchasing or consuming histories or tendencies Preferred school size, preferred residence, sweepstakes participation records, ScholarshipPoints activities, reward activities, e-gift cards information, survey responses.
Internet or other similar network activity. Browsing history, search history, information on a consumer's interaction with a website, application, or advertisement. Data and time of interaction with an advertisement, advertisement ID, website ID, session ID, browsing history, search history, chat transcript.
Sensory data. Audio, electronic, visual, thermal, olfactory, or similar information. Call recording when you contact our call center, photos.
 Professional or employment-related information.  Current or past job history or performance evaluations.  Job information and status, job title.
 Non-public education information (per the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (20 U.S.C. Section 1232g, 34 C.F.R. Part 99)).  Education records directly related to a student maintained by an educational institution or party acting on its behalf, such as grades, transcripts, class lists, student schedules, student identification codes, student financial information, or student disciplinary records.  School name, school address, GPA, exam scores, major, degree, graduation date, class rank, grade levels.
 Inferences drawn from other Personal Information.  Profile reflecting a person's preferences, characteristics, psychological trends, predispositions, behavior, attitudes, intelligence, abilities, and aptitudes. Propensity to select certain offers, scholarships, advertisements, content, colleges, and/or universities that may interest you, and gender. 
Use of Personal Information for Business Purposes or Commercial Purposes.

We may use or disclose Personal Information we collect for "business purposes" or "commercial purposes" (as defined under the CCPA), which may include the following examples. The examples provided are illustrative and not intended to be exhaustive.

(a) Auditing Interactions with Consumers. For example, monitoring traffic to our Websites, auditing related to a current interaction with you and concurrent transactions, including, but not limited to, counting ad impressions to unique visitors, verifying positioning and quality of ad impressions, and auditing for legal and regulatory compliance.

(b) Security. For example, maintaining the safety, security, and integrity of our Website, products and Services, databases and other technology assets and our business, including preventing fraud, detecting security breaches and prosecuting violators, and responding to law enforcement requests and meeting requirements of applicable law, court order, or governmental regulations.

(c) Debugging/Repair. For example, identifying and repairing errors in our Websites' and Services functionality.

(d) Short-term Advertising. For example, ad customization.

(e) Performing Services. For example, creating, maintaining, customizing and securing your account with us, processing your RewardFish or ScholarshipPoints transactions, hosting our Websites, fulfilling activities, managing databases, performing analyses, marketing services such as managing promotions and contests. Also, establishing and maintaining your rewards account, and providing you with opportunities (and/or in the furtherance of on-going opportunities) for you to earn rewards or other benefits through our consumer rewards services. Such opportunities may include cashback shopping, offers, surveys, search, watching video and other online and offline activities. In addition, we collect and use Personal Information in order to provide and share such information with selected service providers, such as research firms, advertising networks, internet service providers, data analytics providers, government entities, operating systems and platforms, social networks, and consumer data resellers who use the Personal Information to provide services to us or on our behalf.

(f) Internal Research for Tech Development. For example, testing, research, analysis, and product development, including to develop and improve our Websites and Services.

(g) Quality and Safety Maintenance and Verification. For example, improving, upgrading or enhancing our products, Services or Websites, and verifying the quality or safety of our Websites or Services.

(h) Other Commercial Purposes Reasonably Aligned with Consumer Expectations. For example, as described to you when collecting your Personal Information such as for promotions or contests, or to evaluate or conduct a merger, divestiture, restructuring, reorganization, dissolution, or other sale or transfer of some or all of our assets, in which Personal Information we hold is among the assets transferred.

If we decide to collect additional categories of Personal Information or use the Personal Information we collect for additional purposes other than those described above, we will update our Privacy Policy and this notice.

Opt-Out of Sale: We sell Personal Information to third parties such as advertisers, third party marketing research companies, consumer data resellers, providers of education financing and educational services, and others as more fully described in our Privacy Policy.
