Chief Marketing Officer

Overview

As a key member of the senior management team, the Chief Marketing Officer will create and implement strategic sales and marketing plans that successfully achieve business objectives. Your customer relationship management and integrity will be a key pillar of success. You will be responsible for planning and executing Edvisors’ business development, marketing, products, product development, content and services. A seasoned team of professionals will support your leadership and expect to continue to advance their careers with your guidance and enthusiasm.

Essential Functions

  • Lead and mentor a team across a broad set of functions including business development, product, marketing and content.
  • Develop and measure key metrics around the business including user acquisition, conversion rates, and engagement rates.
  • Develop and measure key metrics to increase organic traffic and reduce affiliate spend.
  • Spearhead the creation and maintenance of the organization's digital footprint, while effectively utilizing SEO.
  • Work with IT to define and execute product initiatives.
  • Oversee all business development and provide strategic direction to ensure sales growth.
  • Negotiate deals and help facilitate contracts to full execution.
  • Research and analyze market trends, competitor offerings, demographics, and other information that affects marketing strategies across multiple channels.
  • Use research findings and analysis to provide direction to business development and marketing teams regarding products, services, content, projects and overall strategy.
  • Identify areas for improvement in product offerings, sales tactics, marketing strategy, and content.
  • Monitor marketing and sales performance and adjusts strategies as needed.

Knowledge, Skill and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related field.
  • Master’s degree preferred
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in marketing, communications, or related field.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in marketing leadership roles, including experience in digital, social media, creative content, SEO, CPA, PPC and affiliate programs.
  • Proficient in setting sales targets and forecasts.
  • Experience in managing elite customers in a fast-paced environment
  • Skilled at developing and managing direct reports with effective team building skills and conflict resolution management.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to communicate effectively across various departments.

Investment Portfolio Manager

Overview

The Investment Portfolio Manager will manage the Company’s investment portfolio. You will be responsible for sourcing new investments, monitoring the performance of the Company’s investment portfolio and staying abreast of market trends. This position will work with the Investment Committee to analyze and monitor activities to ensure maximum efficiency of the investment portfolio in support of Company goals.

Essential Functions

  • Actively manage the Company’s investment portfolio within the investment policy guidelines established by the Investment Committee.
  • Provide frequent and timely financial and investment analysis and recommendations for potential investments and allocation changes to maintain the Company’s investment strategy.
  • Develop short- and long-term investment strategies and approaches to achieve the Company’s investment goals.
  • Conduct financial due diligence and analysis on new investments and presents findings to the Investment Committee for discussion.
  • Stay up to date with news, market fluctuations and trends and report to the Investment Committee.
  • Use financial planning tools to gather investment data, compile information and prepare reports to present to Investment Committee.
  • Support the planning and execution of initiatives within the investment portfolio.
  • Prepare and analyze recurring and ad hoc reports as requested by Senior Management or Investment Committee.
  • Work together with Investment Committee to identify investment opportunities.
  • Monitor asset allocation, investment performance and market conditions that may impact the investment portfolio.
  • Conduct regular review of investment performance and recommend changes as needed.

Knowledge, Skill and Experience

  • A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics or a related field
  • Five years’ experience in portfolio management
  • CFP or CFA certification preferred
  • Knowledge of financial concepts and understanding of financial markets and economics

Database Developer

Overview

This position will be responsible for the design, development, optimization and maintenance of the ETL, SQL support, and Data Warehouse functions at CLC.

Essential Functions

  • Design, Develop, Integrate and Optimize
    • Multiple ETL processes (DTS/SSIS, SQL, *nix shell scripts).
    • Multiple conforming data marts for the enterprise, incorporating data from CLC and Edvisors apps and data stores, as well as any new data that is obtained in future.
    • Meta Data Repository.
    • Internal and external data feeds, both incoming and outgoing. Ensure adequate security for all data sent or received.
  • Monitor, Maintain and Optimize
    • Regular ETL’s, data feeds to clients, and reports.
    • Business continuity processes (where applicable).
    • Database Server performance.
    • Participate in securing databases, and administering security policies
  • Work closely with Dev team to produce SQL for development tickets where appropriate.
  • Carry out some DBA duties, with assistance from Senior DBA.
  • Other duties, as assigned

Knowledge, Skill and Experience

  • BS in Computer Science, or related
  • Extensive knowledge of SQL and ETL Tools
  • Data Warehouse Architecture, Data Modeling and ETL Development
  • Strong analytic, problem solving, and technical skills, including shell scripting, database management tools, and advanced knowledge of various dialects of SQL.
  • Ability to work on all programming tasks without instruction, and on other phases of applications development, such as quality assurance testing and walkthroughs, with general guidance.
  • Ability to pick up new technologies and perform job tasks in different environments, as the enterprise’s needs change.
  • Ability to estimate, schedule and track projects from start to finish. Project management skills, including the ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple projects, are strongly desired.
  • Must have the ability to develop plans, lead and coordinate efforts of team members, report on status of projects.

Content Marketing Manager

Overview

As a key member of the marketing team, the Content Marketing Manager will help grow our brand’s organic presence on all search engines. This position will have a unique opportunity to combine creative and content strategy with a data driven approach. You will be responsible for content writing and publishing, keeping a pulse on ongoing search algorithms, execute on SEO strategy and target new channel opportunities. The ideal candidate will have a strong editorial background, an analytical mind, and a proven track record in leveraging content to drive organic growth along with experience in managing a team. You will collaborate with the content and social media team as we continue to grow our product lines.

Essential Functions

  • Help drive our SEO strategy, with a focus on writing and producing transactional keyword-optimized content and grow organic conversions
  • Support content development workflows including the audit of images, graphics, video, and copy to maintain quality
  • Collaborate with content team to create and edit content for all sites
  • Monitor organic traffic and organic conversions across sites
  • Identify revenue generating opportunities and adjust content/ads accordingly
  • Work upstream with Product Managers to identify content needs and performance metrics to deliver data driven output to help increase engagement on media marketing channels
  • Serve as SME for CMS and provide key recommendations for enhancements to the business
  • Collaborate with our social teams as we build our YouTube and TikTok presence, ensuring our content is optimized and ideally leading the charge on VSEO strategy

Knowledge/Skills/Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry experience in Marketing, Business, English, Journalism, Communications, or related field

  • Expertise in SEO strategy, and a proven track record in driving organic conversions through content

Digital Product Marketing Manager

Overview

As a key member of the marketing team, the Digital Product Marketing Manager will be responsible for performance marketing strategy, acquisition, retention, and product development. If you are a detail oriented, analytical thinker who is driven by data, is goal oriented and has a passion for working in a fast-paced environment, then you are in the right place.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with Business Development and VP of Marketing to identify and establish relevant advertising opportunities for the product line
  • Responsible for acquisitions, campaign optimizations and product development.
  • Support the business roadmap to deliver a best-in-class digital acquisition experience
  • Analyze campaign performance to measure results and optimize conversions utilizing tools like Google Analytics and Google Search Console.
  • Manage relationships with affiliate agencies and advertising partners
  • Collaborate with team members to create and support digital marketing campaigns for product lines in paid search, social media advertising, AB testing, display, and remarketing.
  • Work with Business Intelligence as needed to pull and update reporting on a weekly/monthly basis
  • Prepare status and report product line performance during weekly stand ups.
  • Work with UX and dev team to help develop the product line including requirements, wireframes etc. as needed

Skills and Experience

  • Managed and maintained data and reporting.
  • Requires strong analytical skills with a proven ability to drive the product evolution through data insights.
  • Experience in digital media planning including display prospecting and re-targeting, paid search, email, referral marketing, as well as web analytics tools and A/B testing.
  • Ability to drive campaigns from concept through to execution and post-campaign analysis.
  • Experience in product management, and conversion rate optimization (CRO) is required
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Your Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree with at least 3 years of experience in a related digital marketing, user experience or product marketing.
  • Applicants should have a strong understanding of Affiliate Marketing, Email Marketing, Search Engine Marketing (SEM), Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Display and Remarketing
  • 2+ years of experience conducting analysis using web analytical and a/b testing
  • 2+ experience in platforms like Google Analytics, Adobe Target, Optimizely, Kenshoo, Marin, DoubleClick, Commission Junction, Tune (Has Offers), Impact Radius and/or other similar tools.

Business Development Manager 

Overview

We are looking for a strong Business Development Manager to work out of our corporate office in Las Vegs, NV. Our Business Development team works to find and develop new relationships for all Edvisors’ product lines in a fast paced, fun, and dynamic environment. This role will report directly to the VP of Business Development. In this role, you will help ensure there is a consistent pipeline of new partners, and that the needs for the Business Development department are met. You will train with the VP of Business Development, and the Business Development Account Manager.

Essential Functions

  • Hunting and closing new clients for RewardFish, ScholarshipPoints, and Data offers/partners (through LinkedIn, emails, RocketReach, calls, etc.). This includes facilitating negotiations and contracts.
  • Scheduling and taking discovery calls with new potential clients daily
  • Tracking all client communications, deals, and clients in the pipeline within HubSpot
  • Managing the new client onboarding process with due diligence, data security checklists, NDA’s, new customer forms, etc. with the business development team
  • Communicating daily through email and phone calls with partners as needed
  • Managing clients and their day-to-day needs
  • Securing EOM revenue reporting from all assigned partners
  • Providing monthly revenue reporting from clients to AR
  • Providing updates to the Marketing/Sales team during weekly meetings
  • Creating CANVA client presentation decks for client pitches
  • Growing and scaling revenue with existing partners through constant communications, listening to their issues, and proposing recommended solutions in a clear, concise manner
  • Inputting and managing Data Requests and Client Requests for all clients
  • Putting together Data Orders and Contracts for Data Clients, and Advertiser IO’s for clients
  • Conducting cursory reviews of contract and agreements from a business perspective
  • Putting together proposals for new clients including recommended test campaign budgets, pricing structures, volumes, and audience targeting for offers, and negotiating prices with clients
  • Contributing ideas to the cultivation of partner growth by way of additional internal products or product improvements we can offer from a Business Development and Marketing perspective
  • Communicating effectively and appropriately across internal Compliance, IT, BusIT, and Marketing teams to problem solve and keep the lines of communications open across our teams

Knowledge/Skills/Experience

  • Five (5)+ years of proven sales or business development experience; strong track record of closing deals
