Marketing Intern

The Edvisors Network, located in the heart of Summerlin near Red Rock Canyon, seeks a creative, social media savvy intern to assist our marketing team. This is a paid position, ideal for a current student or recent graduate wishing to take on social media and marketing projects, learn from a talented team of marketing professionals, and build their resume. This position is part-time and length of internship would be at least 3 months. Please respond with your resume for immediate consideration.

  • Help execute marketing and promotional campaigns in various channels ranging from social media to video production
  • Create engaging content for interacting with our audience in social channels
  • Serve as main contributor for our social media resources for Edvisors.com (under construction) and ScholarshipPoints.com
  • Assist the marketing department with administrative tasks

Business Development Account Manager

JOB SUMMARY:

The Business Development Account Manager is salary-based with bonus potential, and is an in-office position, located at our headquarters in Las Vegas, Nevada (Summerlin). Edvisors is a unique and progressive higher education data and marketing company, where drive and passion are both recognized and rewarded. We are looking for an individual who understands the Millennial and Gen Z demographic. This position will require the ability to identify companies that are a perfect fit for this demographic, who would also be of value to and resonate with our audience.

As part of the Business Development team, the Account Manager will help manage current clients, assist in building a robust pipeline; onboard and manage assigned clients; identify opportunities to scale with existing clients (upsell); and help increase revenue and results for the company. The Account Manager will liaise between customers and cross-functional internal teams to ensure great client service and results.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Manage and provide high touch customer service to existing partners, as assigned.
  • Grow revenue—Identify prospects to help build a solid pipeline. This includes researching competitor websites, identifying potential advertisers for various product lines and cold calling to develop potential leads. Ideal candidate is able to negotiate and close deals, including test campaigns.
  • Assist with completion and coordination of new client onboarding documents, including Security Checklists and New Customer Forms.
  • Provide and collect sensitive documents such as Non-Disclosure Agreements and templated Insertion Orders (agreements), as needed.
  • Astute at cursory level contract review (or willing to learn).
  • Monitor existing tracking platforms (ie: HasOffers, Google Analytics) for performance anomalies and communicate with clients immediately on any issues that surface.
  • Assist with ongoing and YOY analysis of per-client-performance, and think creatively to identify ways the company can generate additional revenue.
  • Help prepare monthly invoice reports for Accounts Receivable based on actualized and estimated revenue, in coordination with clients and output from tracking systems.
  • In collaboration with Marketing, help facilitate offer setup process, and help monitor conversions and offer performance.
  • Work with Marketing Operations to communicate client budgets and work towards meeting net profit for assigned product lines.
  • Request increases in client budgets, when appropriate, to continue scaling revenue and relationships.
  • Communicate client feedback to further improve the product lines.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance and update collateral for prospects, as needed.
  • Other duties, as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND EXPERIENCE:

  • 2-5+ years proven sales or business development experience.
  • Must be an ambitious, results-driven individual who brings passion to this role and contributes to a positive work environment.
  • Must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to work well on a team or individually.
  • Outstanding negotiation and closing skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Able to easily establish rapport with clients and prospects; especially via phone and email.
  • Exceptional organizational skills.
  • Ability to prioritize, as well as oversee multiple clients in different time zones.
  • Ability to screen potential deals based on size of opportunity (potential short-term/long-term yields), and manage the pursuit of new business appropriately.
  • Must be able to read, decipher and help communicate trends evidenced in various performance reports from tools such as Google Analytics, HasOffers, corporate dashboards and Microsoft Excel.
  • Solid understanding of online and email marketing, including familiarity with lead forms and filtering; conversion rate optimization; offer walls; CRO (A/B) testing; email open and click-through rates; etc.
  • Must be an ethical individual; able to adhere to corporate compliance and governance.

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree (preferred but not required) in business or related field.

COMPUTER SKILLS:

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Proficiency with customer relationship management (CRM) software; preferably Salesforce.com
  • Adept in Google Analytics, Has Offers or similar software
  • Competent in creating client facing presentations
  • Ability to quickly learn technology and process flows/procedures
