Affiliate Marketing Specialist

OVERVIEW:

As a key member of the marketing team, the Affiliate Marketing Specialist  will be responsible for affiliate marketing strategy, acquisition, and performance. This position will play an integral role supporting and growing lead generation and customer acquisition. The primary focus is to manage and grow current affiliate partnerships, new partner on-boarding, optimization, quality management, analysis, and accounting.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and manage affiliate campaigns across all Edvisors products
  • Maximize the number of affiliate partners and increase revenue with existing partners.
  • Work with the rest of the marketing team to ensure campaigns are well integrated with overall marketing strategy and business goals.
  • Work with partners to identify the best solutions for effective affiliate marketing programs
  • Will be responsible for setting up offers, tracking and monitoring performance.
  • Manage the affiliate budget, including commissions and daily spend
  • Work with existing partners to optimize campaigns and improve quality of traffic
  • Vet partner contracts in collaboration with compliance to determine risk and to make sure everything is compliant to our terms.
  • Screen current and potential affiliates for fraudulent activities
  • Analyze campaigns and reporting to ensure affiliates deliver the best ROI Manage affiliates and the campaign strategy with the aim of meeting targets/goals
  • Ensure timely and accurate invoicing by agencies and affiliates
  • Reengage inactive affiliates and rebuild relationships as required

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

  • 3+ years’ experience with affiliate marketing
  • Proactive, self-starter who is data driven and results oriented
  • Ability to work with tight deadlines
  • Strong partnership management skills
  • Strong prospecting, closing and negotiation skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong skillset in reporting and presentation is required
  • Detail oriented
  • Ability and desire to operate in a fast-paced, and dynamic environment
  • 2+ years’ experience working with HasOffers/Tune, Google Analytics, Commission Junction, Impact Radius and Awin preferred.
  • Experience in financial and Education space preferred but optional

Content Writer

Overview

The Content Writer is responsible for creating content for the company’s websites. In collaboration with the Content team, this role facilitates the strategy, planning, writing, and editing content that will live on the company’s websites and social media accounts.

As a key member of the marketing team, the Content Writer will help grow our brand’s organic presence on all search engines. This position will have a unique opportunity to combine creative and content strategy with a data driven approach. You will be responsible for content writing and publishing, keeping a pulse on ongoing search algorithms, execute on SEO strategies and targeting new channel opportunities. The ideal candidate will have a strong editorial background.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and develop copy deliverables including articles, web copy, email, press releases, video, PowerPoint presentations, chats and social media
  • Write original articles and blogs about topics relevant to students, including college admission and enrollment, scholarships and paying for college.
  • Copy generated must meet current SEO standards and internal Edvisors SEO plans
  • Copy-editing and fact-checking content for accuracy, effectiveness, and style, revising questionable text as needed
  • Audit and update existing web site content as needed
  • Prepare all copy submission materials for compliance/legal review, as necessary
  • Deliver products in a timely fashion to meet set deadlines Identify opportunities for content development based on trends in external news media coverage
  • Summarize newsworthy developments in student financial aid from a consumer and educator perspective
  • Monitor financial aid and guidance counselor forums for developments and insights that are relevant to multiple consumer audiences
  • Monitor statutory, regulatory, and sub-regulatory guidance developments that are relevant to consumers
  • Collaborate with internal, multidisciplinary team members (Marketing, Sales, Product, Web Development) regarding the planning and execution of creative concepts and branding strategies as needed.
  • Support ad-hoc marketing needs

Skills/Experience:

  • Strong writing and editorial skills with thorough knowledge of English grammar
  • Experience working with and writing content across multiple teams and individuals
  • In depth experience with CMS platforms (experience with Sitecore is preferred)
  • Basic knowledge of HTML Knowledge of current design trends and best practices
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite Adept at reviewing and synthesizing data from Google Search Console and Google Analytics Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud programs (Illustrator, Photoshop, Dreamweaver) a plus

Your Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in English, journalism, communications, or a related field Ability to write clear, concise, and persuasive prose
  • Excellent attention to detail A commitment to accuracy
  • Strong organizational and planning skills
  • Ability to work independently on multiple projects simultaneously, set priorities and meet deadlines
  • An understanding of the needs of college students, high school students, families, guidance counselors, financial aid administrators as well as policymakers is preferred
  • 3 - 4 years of experience in copywriting or publishing (Financial aid or student marketing experience strongly preferred)
  • Excellent team-building skills and the ability to collaborate with colleagues in a fast-paced environment
  • Project and time management skills are a must

   

Quality Assurance Analyst

Overview

The Software Quality Assurance Analyst's role is to provide testing validation and quality review support for software applications and services including website front-end functional testing, middle tier/backend testing of web services and databases as well as perform regression and integration/acceptance testing in an agile development environment.

Essential Functions

  • Formulate test strategies and test cases from requirements, design documents and specifications
  • Communicate test progress, test results, and relevant information to project stakeholders and management
  • Create, track, and validate defect tasks discovered in the course of testing work
  • Participation in weekly Development/QA scrum meetings and weekly test team meetings
  • Participation in all phases of the software development process
  • Ability to analyze user requirements, develop a test approach, and formulate a testing methodology
  • Work closely with Software Engineers to communicate, track, and confirm resolution of software defects
  • Identify opportunities for regression test procedures that can be referred for automation
  • Ensure testing is completed within established timelines and applications conform to all applicable requirements

Knowledge/Skills/Experience

  • Strong knowledge of software testing best practices and methodologies
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Familiarity with Sitecore, MSSQL, and API testing
  • Experience writing basic SQL queries to retrieve information stored in SQL Database
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Team Foundation Server, Visual Studio, Test Manager, SharePoint, CRM
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office tools - Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Exposure to .Net technologies, web services, and stored procedures
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to communicate in both technical and end user-friendly language
  • Able to prioritize and execute tasks in high pressure situations

Education/Certifications

  • ISTQB Foundation Certificate in software testing or similar credential(s) a plus

System Administrator

Overview

The System Administrator is responsible for handling support and service requests in a professional and timely manner. This position installs, configures, and maintains infrastructure services with an emphasis on Microsoft software in a hybrid cloud environment, to include SharePoint, Team Foundation Server, and Dynamics.

Essential Functions

  • Under general guidance from the Director of Engineering and Senior Systems Engineers provide support for areas related to systems administration.
  • Responsible for administering and helping to design reliable, secure, and fault-tolerant collaboration tools.
  • Administer and maintain CLC’s Microsoft TFS and Azure Devops environment, provide new builds and support to Dev, QA, and Production servers.
  • Maintain and enhance code customizations for CLC’s enterprise Microsoft Dynamic CRM and SharePoint systems.
  • Responsible for ensuring availability of platform monitoring, with timely problem identification and resolution
  • Assist with daily administration of critical infrastructure services including Active Directory, GPO, DNS, DHCP, SAN, log management, and monitoring systems.
  • Evaluate and recommend Enterprise level hardware and software solutions
  • Define, promote, and encourage the use of engineering practices.
  • Identify opportunities for new systems administration practices
  • Help plan for future enhancements and direction of the overall computer network
  • Effectively collaborate with peers, cross-functional teams and team leaders.
  • Responsible for identifying and communicating technical issues and risks associated with solutions and participate in infrastructure design reviews
  • Responsible for administration, scheduling and testing of backup software and archived data.
  • Participate in a rotating on-call schedule.
  • Complete other tasks and projects as assigned

Knowledge/Skills/Experience

  • Must have 3+ years of IT experience.
  • Experience with the following: Microsoft Server products such as Active Directory, Exchange, SQL Server, Storage Area Network Experience; Cisco Network Appliances, Disaster Recovery.
  • Experience developing and maintaining Microsoft collaboration tools; Teams, SharePoint, and CRM. Both on-premise and cloud deployed.
  • Experience with Azure infrastructure management, Azure Storage, Networking, Office 365, Defender, DLP, Teams, and Compliance systems.
  • Experience in the analysis, installation, relocation/migration of Enterprise Level LAN/WAN system including hardware and software in a multi-platform complex environment is highly desirable.
  • Excellent customer service, verbal and written communication skills are a must.
  • Ability to explain technical solutions to business users with professionalism and tact.
  • Knowledge of MiTel phone systems is a plus.

Education/Certifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Industry certifications related to Windows system administration and security (MCSE/MCSA/Security+/GSEC) Certified Azure Administrator is desirable.
