Director, Performance Marketing
This position requires 7+ years’ experience in digital marketing with an aptitude in leading SEM, affiliate and email channels, along with a strong knowledge of SEO and social media. The ability to negotiate with partners and help close deals, as needed, is a must. This role is responsible for the overall management of the marketing programs for multiple websites and business lines. The ideal candidate is a well-organized, ethical digital marketing leader with strong communication, supervision and interpersonal skills.
Responsible for driving results through various digital marketing strategies including SEO, SEM, affiliate, email and social media.
Implement highly creative campaigns to raise brand awareness and drive engagement; perform audit on existing promotions and lead team to drive unique, cutting-edge approaches for greater results
Drive qualified, online traffic to the company’s website(s) while maintaining positive financial results and ROAS.
Develop appropriate forecasting for lead generation to fulfill client budgets and company goals. Work collaboratively with Business Development.
Ensure strong pipeline of affiliates exist for each business channel
Oversee the development and implementation of effective strategies for keyword optimization, search engine marketing, website visits, and social media interaction (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and YouTube)
Drive CRO (conversion rate optimization) efforts, including ongoing A/B testing via Google Optimize. Monitor intraday and trended performance to make best optimization decisions, depending on website/product line.
Track conversion rates, ensure partner flows are optimized, and make recommendations to improve websites, as needed.
Provide leadership, direction and management of the marketing strategy (developed in conjunction with SVP) and help team execute
Stay abreast of industry trends, including higher education related trends concerning college planning and financing
Review latest marketing advancements and keep the company at the forefront of developments in digital marketing
Conduct competitive analysis and implement improvements to pricing strategy, where appropriate
Collaborate with other departments to achieve overall company goals
Responsible for planning and budgeting all marketing initiatives, including any initiatives with 3rd parties, as well as implementation of appropriate cost controls
Create and maintain the promotional materials inventory and maintain company-wide brand standards
Identify conferences and training opportunities for the department’s continuous development
KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND EXPERIENCE:
Minimum 7 years of digital marketing experience with proven track record

As part of the Business Development team, the Account Manager will help manage current clients, assist in building a robust pipeline; onboard and manage assigned clients; identify opportunities to scale with existing clients (upsell); and help increase revenue and results for the company.The Account Manager will liaise between customers and cross-functional internal teams to ensure great client service and results.
Manage and provide high touch customer service to existing partners, as assigned.
Grow revenue—Identify prospects to help build a solid pipeline. This includes researching competitor websites, identifying potential advertisers for various product lines and cold calling to develop potential leads. Ideal candidate is able to negotiate and close deals, including test campaigns.
Assist with completion and coordination of new client onboarding documents, including Security Checklists and New Customer Forms. Provide and collect sensitive documents such as Non-Disclosure Agreements and templated Insertion Orders (agreements), as needed.

Help prepare monthly invoice reports for Accounts Receivable based on actualized and estimated revenue, in coordination with clients and output from tracking systems.

Work with Marketing Operations to communicate client budgets and work towards meeting net profit for assigned product lines. Request increases in client budgets, when appropriate, to continue scaling revenue and relationships.

Design, produce and implement software solutions on .NET platform in a highly collaborative, fast-paced environment. Design innovative solutions to real market problems.
