Director of Marketing

JOB SUMMARY:

This position is responsible for the overall management of the marketing department. They are responsible for providing supervision for all marketing programs, including affiliate marketing, SEM, and social media.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Provide leadership, direction and management of the marketing strategy and execution (developed in conjunction with SVP)
  • Develop comprehensive, strategic marketing plan to include competitive analysis and relevant pricing strategy, where appropriate
  • Responsible for driving results through various digital marketing strategies including SEO, SEM, email and social media
  • Implement highly creative campaigns to raise brand awareness and drive engagement; perform audit on existing promotions and lead team to drive unique, cutting-edge approaches for greater results
  • Drive qualified, online traffic to the company’s website(s)
  • Develop appropriate forecasting for lead generation to fulfill client budgets and company goals
  • Oversee the development and implementation of effective strategies to maximize keyword optimization, search engine marketing, website visits, and social media interaction
  • Create a strong social media strategy for the company by building and managing presence on sites such as Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Google+ and blogs
  • Develop strong pipeline of affiliates for each business channel
  • Drive CRO (conversion rate optimization), including driving ongoing A/B testing via Google Optimize
  • Plan for appropriate trade shows by coordinating logistics with internal stakeholders; develop displays, facilitate pre and post-conference mailings, create on-site promotions strategy
  • Track conversion rates and make improvements to the website(s), in collaboration with Product team
  • Collaborate with Product, Content and Business Development teams to achieve overall company goals
  • Responsible for planning and budgeting all marketing initiatives, including any initiatives with 3rd parties, as well as implementation of appropriate cost controls
  • Review new technologies and keep the company at the forefront of developments in digital marketing
  • Create and maintain the promotional materials inventory and develop company-wide brand standards
  • Stay abreast of higher education related trends concerning college planning and financing

KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum 5 years of digital marketing experience
  • Strong understanding of current online marketing concepts, strategies and best practices
  • Extreme creativity with proven track record and results in social media space
  • Experience managing ecommerce, SEO, contextual, CPA, PPC, affiliate programs and email marketing
  • Understanding of relevant laws pertaining to online marketing and privacy, including CAN-SPAM
  • Skilled at developing, coaching and managing direct reports to ensure the department delivers on goals
  • Expertise across web, mobile and tablet

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS:

  • 4 year degree in Marketing or comparable program

COMPUTER SKILLS:

Senior Business Analyst

JOB SUMMARY:

The Senior Business Analyst helps the business implement technology solutions in a cost-effective way by eliciting, defining and documenting the requirements of features/projects and communicating them clearly to stakeholders and development teams. The Senior Business Analyst participates in the development, testing, and implementation of application solutions, includes coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants in order to deliver solutions within scope and according to plan.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Define feature/project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Elicit and define feature/project scope documentation, including gap analyses, user stories, flows, and requirements.
  • Produce definition and design deliverables throughout project, including requirement updates, wireframes, and data migration requirements.
  • Develop project plans and associated communications documents.
  • Plan, schedule and track project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools.
  • Develop and deliver project progress reports, proposals, and presentations.
  • Document application procedures and training.
  • Facilitate sessions with development team to design solutions based on business rules and requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with developers to implement requirements, provide necessary guidance to testers during QA process.
  • Meet with project team regularly to review project deliverables and deadlines.
  • Facilitate project meetings and presentations to diverse audiences, including technical staff, internal business stakeholders and management.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum of 3 years of project management and business analysis experience.
  • Familiarity with the company’s web development domain, including Team Foundation Server, Sitecore CMS, and MS Dynamics CRM

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems or equivalent work experience.

Affiliate Marketing Manager

JOB SUMMARY:

The ideal candidate is someone with prior account management & business development experience who is well versed with the latest technologies & platforms involved in digital marketing. Edvisors is a Las Vegas based company and this position is at the main office. While mainly focused on affiliate marketing, you will have the opportunity to work closely with the rest of the Marketing team and will be expected to contribute ideas for multiple channels. The position reports to the VP of Marketing.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Develop Edvisors/RewardFish.com affiliate marketing programs, including strategy, planning and execution
  • Manage setup of offers within the affiliate marketing platform
  • Manage rankings of offers on our “offer wall”
  • Work daily with existing partners to implement and optimize campaigns
  • Proactively recruit new affiliate partners
  • Proactively recruit new advertiser partners
  • Creatively negotiate partner contracts
  • Create new growth opportunities with new and existing affiliate partners
  • Analyze affiliate performance and ROI by reporting on acquisition costs and performance of acquired traffic in regards to conversation rates, traffic, retention and lifetime value
  • Recommend and implement various strategies to optimize user sign up flows and maximize affiliate performance

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • 5+ years’ experience with affiliate marketing
  • Proactive, self-starter who is driven by metrics and analytics
  • Strong negotiation skills and experience managing vendors and partners

Senior Software Engineer

JOB SUMMARY:

Design, produce and implement software solutions on .NET platform in a highly collaborative, fast-paced environment. Design innovative solutions to real market problems. Work closely with product and marketing managers, user interaction designers, and software engineers to develop new product offerings and improve existing ones. Provide technical leadership and consulting across the organization, from strategic decision making to project planning. Under management guidance, can assist with the recruiting and hiring process for technical talent.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work collaboratively with IT Development team on software development efforts from a technology perspective. This involves being intimately involved with all technical activities within the team (software development life cycle activities, code reviews, research, etc.)
  • Technology Oversight: Maintain an ongoing awareness of emerging developments and trends in technology that could impact current projects and influence new projects
  • Evangelism of architectural vision, strategy, and principles
  • Involvement in architectural alignment implementation efforts
  • High-level technical consultation and developer mentoring
  • Plan and implement the technical Enterprise Architecture, including both short and long term strategies for retiring certain legacy systems, integrating existing systems and new systems implementation recommendations
  • Utilizes and evangelizes best of breed programming techniques including design patterns, re-usable and modular development, and contribute to SOA governance

  • Minimum 8 years full-time software development experience in an enterprise environment
  • 10+ years experience with object-oriented design and implementation with expert knowledge of OO languages (C#), distributed systems, web services, etc.
  • Minimum 8 years of C# and MS SQL Server (T-SQL)
  • Minimum 5 years developing with ASP.NET MVC, JSON, and jQuery/JavaScript
  • Minimum 2 years of developing with CRM technologies and Sitecore CMS
  • Minimum 5 years working in an Agile environment
  • At least 5 years of experience leading large design efforts and coordinating project teams of 4 or more members
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and diagrammatic skills
  • Familiarity with field and lab-based usability research methodologies
